Acrylic PMMA

PLEXIGLAS® Acrylic PMMA moulding compounds are thermoplastics based on polymethyl methacrylate.

PLEXIGLAS® Acrylic PMMA crystal clear moulding compounds provide the maximum possible light transmission, up to 92%, unsurpassed resistance to weathering and ageing. They do not yellow or fade, have excellent resistance to chemical attack and abrasion.

PLEXIGLAS® moulding compound production and product quality is in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001:2004 and ISO TS 16949:2002.

The range of PLEXIGLAS® moulding compounds distributed by Plastral includes high and intermediate flow, automotive lens grades and colours, high heat resistance and impact-modified, light diffusion, optical quality and non-transparent exterior automotive grades.

PLEXIGLAS® moulding compounds are the standard for automotive lenses in many parts of the world.

Areas of use: lighting profiles and sheet, automotive lenses, non-transparent automotive components, coextruded capping, medical devices, electrical appliances, toys.
